But wait a moment – What actually is she offering? Anything useful?

Answer – “Books & Workshops that grow strong, confident, free, equal, caring adults."

And why? “Because better humans = better family lives = better communities = better New Zealand. And even a better world.

Yes! We already lead the world in diverse and stunning ways. We surely punch above our weight. Good on us, past and present.

But shame on us too, for right now, wonderful NZ also leads the world in family violence, suicides, mental health distress, alcohol and drug abuse, and more. Statistics confirm we’reat the bottom of the heap without enough early help that changes lives and communities.

Why is this? Social Welfare pours millions of dollars and great programmes - but mostly atthe bottom of steep cliffs.

“I stand alongside the late Archbishop Desmond Tutu, feisty activist leader of South Africa ( I met him when he visited NZ some years back ..so bright and cheery and punchy) ..... Let us now work upstream! I’m tired of pulling drowning people from the waters!”

Longterm Goal. That Whangarei leads the way towards ongoing lifelong healthy social education for all ages and stages. That we become “The Human Learning Hub of New Zealand, where Every Person Matters!”
